British Film Institute to Screen 5cm Per Second
The London based British Film Institute will be screening Makoto Shinkai’s 5cm Per Second on June 20, as part of an Anime Now weekend event. The screening will be preceded by an on stage interview with the director, and he will also be signing coipies of his DVD’s and books.
Other screenings planned for the event include Satoshi Kon’s Paprika on Friday, Tekkonkinkreet, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and the live-action Death Note movie on Saturday. Appleseed: Ex Machina, Vexille and The Place Promised in Our Early Days will be shown on Sunday.
