Detroit Metal City Mini-Episode Online

Amazon Japan is streaming a 5 minute mini-episode of the Detroit Metal City anime, which is based on Kiminori Wakasugi’s comedy manga of the same name, about a shy singer who rises to fame as the front man of a death metal band.

The project is being handled by Studio 4C (Genius Party, Tekkonkinkreet), and will run for 24 episodes. A full series DVD box set is set for release in Japan on August 8. Click here to watch the episode.
